Our schedule called for going from Penzance to the Bath area via the north coast of Cornwall but the weather was awful. Heavy rain and high winds. Consequently we skipped Newquay, Port Issac. However we did make it to Tintagel Castle, the legendary home of King Arthur. The rain had let up some, but the wind was still strong. The castle is a ruins, and they'd closed it due to the high winds since they were afraid the remaining wall might collapse. Oh well, on to Bath.
